By selectively bending portions of the leveler work rolls through the adjustable back-up rolls the material fibers get properly stretched in the critical areas and leveling steel coils and sheets in cold condition to eliminate the main defects of the metal sheet after rolling mills such as dents, curvature, waviness, camber and so on..
